Funders' Forum
Educational Research Funders’ Forum
The Educational Research Funders’ Forum (commonly known as the Funders’ Forum) was a voluntary group consisting of 22 significant education research funders, which worked together to try to bring greater coherence across the range of research funded in education and related disciplines.
The Funders Forum was launched in 2001 and comprised charities, research councils, independent organisations, the DFES and other government departments. The group met on a quarterly basis, but was disbanded in 2005 when the new structure for NERF was implemented.
