PrioritiesThere is no comprehensive system for establishing and managing priorities for educational research in England. NERF looked to develop the process by which educational priorities, and from them, research priorities, are established. NERF consulted with other organisations with an interest in improving practice on the ground, as well as seeking generalisable concepts about priority setting.Participating organisations were: Learning and Skills Council Economic and Social Research Council National R&D Centre for Adult Literacy and Numeracy Learning & Teaching Support Network (Higher Education) Teacher Training Agency Department for Education and Skills National College of School Leadership The following NERF working papers outline the work undertaken on priority setting, and the outcome of Development Group workshops to share priorities and research agendas.
