The careers education, information, advice and guidance section of the site, and the other related resource areas, were compiled in June 2009 by DMH Associates on behalf of CfBT Education Trust.
DMH Associates was established in August 2008. This Derbyshire-based organisation operates within a framework designed specifically to strengthen the inter-connectivity between career guidance policy, research and practice. Its body of research, consultancy and evaluation activities spans from reviewing the implementation and effectiveness of local, regional, national and European careers and guidance-related policies and practices to assessing and measuring the impact of youth, adult guidance and workforce development policies throughout the UK.
CfBT Education Trust is a leading charity providing education services for public benefit in the UK and internationally. Established 40 years ago, CfBT Education Trust now has an annual turnover exceeding £100 million and employs more than 2,000 staff worldwide who support educational reform, teach, advise, research and train.
Since it was founded, CfBT has worked in more than 40 countries around the world. The work involves teacher and leadership training, curriculum design and school improvement services. The majority of staff provide services direct to learners in schools or through projects for excluded pupils, in young offender institutions and in advice and guidance for young people.
