It undertakes around 200 research projects every year, spanning all sectors of education, from pre-school to lifelong learning and provides high quality, evidence-based research for policy makers, managers and practitioners.

The NFER has an internal QA procedures manual which is accessed through our intranet. This includes internal peer review, editorial scrutiny for reports published in-house and advisory and steering group scrutiny for reports published by sponsors.
